EOS believes strongly in the continuing education and training of our employees. In fact in our 2006 season EOS funded a program to train 42 workers from the Northwest Territories with respect to equipment operations, maintenance and safety, rigging and slinging, life skills, driver training, WHMIS and TDG.
At the beginning of 2008 EOS implemented an 8 month Leadership and Management Program custom designed to address our company’s individual needs. This program comes complete with on-going coaching sessions with our program instructors, where they focus on coaching our workers on proper communication techniques, providing feedback to their supervisors, their direct reports and the client, and conflict resolution, to name just a few. To date nearly 30 of our top Superintendents and Senior Management have attended this program.

EOS believes strongly that if workers require any additional or further training in order to make a client job site more safe and efficient, that they be sent for it.
